Observership Program

Back to All Opportunities

The Department of Supportive Care (DSC) welcomes learners from a range of disciplines. Learners come from palliative care, psychiatry, nursing and allied health.

Observerships are encouraged within all three divisions:

  • Palliative Care
  • Psychosocial Oncology
  • Cancer Rehabilitation and Survivorship

We offer four levels of observerships including a General Observership, Personalized Learning Plan (PLP), Virtual Learning Program and Executive PLP. The four programs differ by the goal of the observership, depth of experience and recommended duration. A registration fee applies, consistent with the administrative and teaching commitment required for each program.

Interested applicants are encouraged to begin the application process at least 3 months prior to the intended start date of their observership.
