Digital Education provides a variety of computer training programs for clinical and business applications. We support exemplary patient care through the design and delivery of quality clinical application training programs and consultation services to the UHN community and Digital Partnership.
The Digital Education team core objective is to support training programs for the UHN Electronic Patient Record (EPR), which is used across the four UHN sites - Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PM), Toronto General Hospital (TG), Toronto Rehab (TR) and Toronto Western Hospital (TW). We also support training for the Oncology Patient Information System (OPIS) which is used at PM clinics, as well as the Pathways Healthcare Scheduling System (PHS) which is used by the administrative clinical community across all sites.
Additionally, training support is provided to the TW Family Health Centre and satellite site, for their clinical management system: PS Suite (PSS). As an integral part of Digital, the education team also plays a key role in various initiatives for projects across the Digital partner sites.
