unauthorized access to, use of, modification of and destruction of our vital information. It is
everyone's responsibility to protect the organization, no matter what role you hold. To maintain system access and/or affiliation with UHN, it is your responsibility to understand and follow UHN's security policies (found on UHN's corporate intranet).

The Digital Education team core objective is to support training programs for the UHN Electronic Patient Record (EPR), which is used across the four UHN sites - Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PM), Toronto General Hospital (TG), Toronto Rehab (TR) and Toronto Western Hospital (TW). We also support training for the Oncology Patient Information System (OPIS) which is used at PM clinics, as well as the Pathways Healthcare Scheduling System (PHS) which is used by the administrative clinical community across all sites.
Additionally, training support is provided to the TW Family Health Centre and satellite site, for their clinical management system: PS Suite (PSS). As an integral part of Digital, the education team also plays a key role in various initiatives for projects across the Digital partner sites.

Data Security is responsible for overseeing EPR account creation for all users. All requests for new access or reactivation will be processed within 24 to 48 hours with the exception of the Nursing and Residents intake process, which may take a longer time to process. Research Personnel should submit a copy of the REB approval letter and are granted read-only access by default unless the Principal Investigator (PI) authorizes another type of access.
