Visiting Hours

Family and friends are welcome to stay with our patients throughout the day. If an overnight stay is required, visiting hours run until 9 pm. In special circumstances, please speak with your nurse.

What We Do

Our unit cares for patients who have been diagnosed with a heart condition and are scheduled for a procedure that requires a hospital stay of less than 2 days.

You will be admitted to our unit if you are having one of the following procedures:

Pacemaker and internal defibrillator insertions
Electrophysiology studies and mapping, and ablations
Congenital interventional procedures such as ASD, PDA, PFO closures, stenting of coarctation
Angioplasty, Stenting and Coronary Interventions
Cardioversions
Coronary Angiograms (Cardiac Catheterizations)
