Virtual Care Resources FOR PATIENTS
Virtual Care Resources FOR CARE PROVIDERS
It is with great excitement that we present Virtual Care at UHN.
This ground-breaking program — propelled by technology but uniquely guided by patients — is poised to introduce a seamless and accessible method of care to our ever-expanding UHN community. In its full realization, Virtual Care at UHN will unite our patients and families with their care providers regardless of care location and reach far beyond our once-perceived boundaries of accessibility, geography and circumstance.
A Healthier World is within our reach.
We invite you to learn more about our plans:
About Virtual Care at UHN
Our Patient-Guided Approach
Our Virtual Care Ecosystem
Since March 2020, UHN's virtual outpatient appointments have increased from about 260 per week to about 8,000 virtual visits per week.
Patient privacy is very important to us at UHN. We protect the privacy of our patients during virtual visits in the same way we would during a clinic visit.
We suggest that the patient take similar steps to protect their own privacy. This means being aware of their surroundings and who may be able to overhear their virtual visit.
