Living Donation Week 2022

#LDW2022 is here.

Living Donation Week is a public awareness event launched by the Centre for Living Organ Donation in 2020 with support from the transplant community across Canada and beyond. It is held annually, starting the Sunday after Labour Day.

Living kidney and living liver donation is a life-giving option that offers a shorter pathway to better health for those awaiting a liver or kidney transplant.

This September, join us and our partners in:

  • raising awareness and improving access to living kidney and living liver donation
  • celebrating living donors, transplant recipients and Team Transplant
  • inspiring those currently waiting for a transplant and those who care for them to explore living organ donation.
