Welcome to the Transplant and Oncology Infectious Diseases (ID) Program at UHN. Our physicians specialize in treating infection in patients who are pre- or post-transplant and those with ventricular assist devices. We also treat infections in patients undergoing stem cell transplantation or CAR-T cell therapy as well as those with hematologic malignancies and solid tumours. We are the largest Transplant/Oncology ID program in Canada. Our goal is to keep patients healthy by emphasizing preventative care and to diagnose and treat infections promptly using state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapeutics to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Our team is internationally recognized for clinical care, research and teaching.
