Find out about changes to cancer care, tips to protect yourself and others, vaccine information and more.

Cancer & COVID

On this 15-bed unit, nurses care for complex patients who are receiving treatment for hematological malignancies, autolog​​ous stem cell transplant and cell therapy. Nurses administer chemotherapy, blood products, study drugs and manage oncologic emergencies.

The majority of patients have diagnoses of:

  • Leukemia
  • Lymphoma
  • Multiple myeloma
  • Hematological disorders
  • Autologous transplants
  • Immune cell therapy

You need to be seen and admitted by a doctor at UHN to become a patient in our inpatient unit.​​​​
