Patients may be moved between the units during their admission.

We encourage you to have family members, friends and other supportive visitors during your stay. You are welcome to meet with visitors in your room, in the common lounge areas and in the visiting areas outdoors. UHN hospitals offer flexible visiting hours. Please speak to nursing staff to get information on unit specific visiting restrictions.

The GIM Program at TWH focuses on best practice in acute medical and senior friendly care. The inter-professional team meets daily to discuss and update each patient's plan to ensure a seamless journey.
