Our cancer centre is one of the largest in the world with over 400,000 patient visits per year. The Harold and Shirley Lederman Palliative Care Centre is interprofessional, serving a patient population through ambulatory clinics, a consult service for inpatients, and a 12-bed palliative care unit. Our clinical focus is on pain and symptom management for complex patients, emotional and practical needs for patients and their caregivers and end of life care.
A wide variety of learners rotate through our service. Whether this is a required rotation or elective, you are welcome to discuss specific objectives with your preceptor, and we will aim to tailor your palliative care experience to these interests and needs.
