Toronto (June 25, 2014) – Created as a tribute to the legacy of G. Montegu "Mont" Black III, a highly respected and successful Canadian business leader, the 2014 Cardiac Classic Test Your Limits Charity Golf Challenge tees off, for the first time, in support of heart research.

"Test Your Limits is about challenging yourself to the next level and pushing your body and mind to do things you didn't think were possible," says Dr. Heather Ross, cardiologist and Director of the Heart Transplant Program at the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre. "It is also about taking awareness surrounding heart disease and organ donation to a new extreme. All this is possible largely part because of the incredible support we receive from generous individuals and groups like the Black family."

The event serves as a fitting memorial to Mont Black, widely known as a man who excelled at anything he undertook. He is also the brother of Conrad M. Black.

The 2014 Cardiac Classic Test Your Limits Golf Challenge runs until October 31, 2014.
