Two simple words that speak volumes.

To mark Patient Experience Week, UHN’s Patient Partners wanted to express their thanks to the healthcare staff positively affecting the patient experience.

Often times, healthcare workers don’t see the small acts in their day-to-day work as exceptional, but they can leave a lasting impression with the patients and families they interact with every day.

In addition to providing excellent care, a simple smile, talking about last night’s game, or truly listening to understand a patient's needs and priorities, is what truly makes the patient experience.

This week is about saying thank you to UHN staff for their commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience – one that demonstrates caring, kindness and a commitment to safe, high-quality care.
