The Peter Munk Cardiac Centre has announced the appointment of six of its world-renowned physicians to leading positions at several preeminent medical journals.
"The outstanding achievements of these doctors in the field of cardiovascular medicine, surgery and imaging is further evidence of the international leadership recruited and housed within the Peter Munk Cardiac Centre at UHN (University Health Network) family," said Dr. Barry Rubin, Medical Director, Peter Munk Cardiac Centre.
Six physicians, including a cardiologist, two cardiovascular surgeons, a cardiovascular radiologist, an interventional radiologist and a pathologist ― part of a medical team that treats more than 55,000 patients annually ― are among those appointed to these prestigious posts.
