Our UHN programs and services are among the most advanced in the world. We have grouped our physicians, staff, services and resources into 10 medical programs to meet the needs of our patients and help us make the most of our resources.
University Health Network is a health care and medical research organization in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The scope of research and complexity of cases at UHN has made us a national and international source for discovery, education and patient care.
Our 10 medical programs are spread across eight hospital sites – Princess Margaret, Toronto General, Toronto Rehab’s five sites, Toronto Western – as well as our education programs through the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. It has come to our attention that the UHN name is being used in an ongoing global recruitment scam. This is to inform potential applicants that UHN is not running an international campaign seeking to hire health care professionals. Candidates who seek employment with us are never required to pay any sum of money to either apply or to be hired for an opportunity within our organization. To do so would be contrary to our business conduct guidelines and ethical practices. Please do not provide any personal or financial information and do not send money to anyone you suspect of recruitment fraud.
We have reported the fraudulent activity to local authorities and they recommend that if an individual suspect that they have provided money or information to a recruitment scam or for any fraudulent purpose, they should file a report with their local police (if in Canada); alternatively for those outside of Canada they should report an incident by calling 1 888 495 8501 or by visiting the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
