After surgery, you'll be moved to the either the Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit and/or the Transplant Acute Care Unit for 1 – 2 days. As you improve, you will then be moved to the Transplant Inpatient Unit. Here, you'll learn about your new life with a transplant, the medications you'll need, and how to take them properly.
