The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world, consistently publishing high-impact discoveries and acting as a world leader in a wide variety of cancer-related research fields, such as image-guided therapeutics and patient survivorship.
Affiliated with the University of Toronto, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre provides trainees with an outstanding research experience. Students enrolled in PhD or MSc programs in a variety of disciplines can find supervisors within the Princess Margaret Cancer Program.
The Office of Research Trainees (ORT) at UHN serves as a portal for trainee-related information and support for all graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, undergraduate and co-op students at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and the other UHN Research Institutes.
The ORT aims to:
- Showcase the strong UHN research environment
- Represent and support the research training within UHN
- Enhance the quality of the research training and mentoring experience
- Facilitate information exchange and interaction among trainees
- Assist trainees in obtaining external funding
All trainees at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre are required to register with the ORT. Registering with the ORT allows access to ORT programming and information on upcoming awards, workshops, seminars and more!
