Our UHN programs and services are among the most advanced in the world. We have grouped our physicians, staff, services and resources into 10 medical programs to meet the needs of our patients and help us make the most of our resources.
University Health Network is a health care and medical research organization in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The scope of research and complexity of cases at UHN has made us a national and international source for discovery, education and patient care.
Our 10 medical programs are spread across eight hospital sites – Princess Margaret, Toronto General, Toronto Rehab’s five sites, Toronto Western – as well as our education programs through the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. Learn more about the services, programs and amenities offered at each location.

Ways You Can Help
Being touched by illness affects us in different ways. Many people want to give back to the community and help others. At UHN, we welcome your contribution and offer different ways you can help so you can find one that suits you.
The Newsroom is the source for media looking for information about UHN or trying to connect with one of our experts for an interview. It’s also the place to find UHN media policies and catch up on our news stories, videos, media releases, podcasts and more.
Our pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are dedicated to ensuring safe, timely and effective drug therapy for all types of patient care. Pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are part of your health care team and work closely with you and the other members of your team to ensure you get the best care possible. We work with you and your doctor to make sure you know your drug therapy options and receive the medication that’s right for you.
UHN has outpatient pharmacies at a number of our hospital sites. We also provide inpatient pharmacy services throughout your stay at UHN. If you wish to speak to an inpatient pharmacist during your inpatient stay, please ask a member of your health care team. A pharmacist can meet with you to review your medications and answer any questions you may have.
To refill your prescriptions online, you must first register for the online refill portal at your UHN Outpatient Pharmacy. See your Pharmacy team for details. (Please note: Patients of TWH Shoppers Drug Mart can order refills by the Easy Refills automated telephone system 416 603 5686.)
Expert Staff: Our friendly and experienced team works closely with you to optimize your medication therapy. We also provide highly specialized pharmacy services that are specific to our hospital patients. This includes the Chemotherapy & Transfusion Centre Pharmacy for our cancer patients,
