Her Royal Highness, the Princess Edward, Countess of Wessex, paid a visit to Toronto Western and Toronto General hospitals on Friday.
At Toronto Western, where she is the patron, she toured some of the laboratories before announcing that the hospital's research arm was being re-named the Krembil Research Institute.
At Toronto General, she met with patients, staff and dignitaries at several receptions.
