Dr. Peter Pisters grabs a bite to eat at the TRI staff barbeque on his three-day tour of TWH, TRI, and TGH.
"What do you love most about your work at the University Health Network?" Dr. Peter Pisters, incoming president and CEO of UHN, asked UHN employees on his first tour around three of the four hospitals he will soon manage.
In a jam-packed three-day tour, Dr. Pisters visited Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and Toronto General Hospital. He met with frontline healthcare workers, hospital executives, administrative staff and many others who contribute to the smooth sailing of UHN. Overwhelmingly, he said, staff answered that the teams they collaborate with are what they love most about working at UHN. His UHN tour will continue when he returns in October to visit Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
