UHN leads the way in research spending among Canada’s top research hospitals.

In its annual Canada’s Top 40 Research Hospitals list for 2016 out today, Research Infosource Inc. found UHN spent $316.3 million on research in the year ending March 31, 2016. Hospital for Sick Children ($182.0), McGill University Health Centre ($172.2 million), Hamilton Health Sciences ($167.4 million) and British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority ($133.9 million) round out the top five.
