Medical assistance in dying (MAID) is about to become law in Canada.
UHN staff can anticipate receiving more requests from patients about the availability of MAID.
With that in mind, UHN has developed a MAID framework. UHN has launched a
MAID website, which will be updated as more details emerge on the final legislation. It will eventually contain an e-learning module, communication videos, MAID policy and procedures as well as MAID referral forms.
