Friday is Remembrance Day and it is customary on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month to honour our veterans who sacrificed their lives for our country. We invite you to participate in one of our Remembrance Day Services taking place across UHN at 11 a.m.
For the first time since 2019, the services will be in-person. All those in attendance will need to be masked and any musicians must maintain three to four metres distance away from the group.
Locations of the Remembrance Day Services at UHN are as follows:
- Toronto General – Peter Munk Lobby
- Toronto Western – Main Floor Atrium
- Princess Margaret – 7th floor Atrium
- Toronto Rehab, University Centre – 2nd floor Auditorium
- Toronto Rehab, Bickle Centre – Main Floor Auditorium
- Toronto Rehab, Lyndhurst Centre – Main Floor Lobby
Although you may not be able to stop what you are doing at 11 a.m. on Friday morning, we encourage everyone to take a minute on that day and reflect on the sacrifices made throughout our history. We honour this service to our country by remembering.
