The 9th annual Weekend to End Women's Cancers (WEWC) took place September 10 and 11. Over the two days, 4,013 participants, ranging in age from 16 to 98 years raised $9.4 million for the Campbell Family Institute at PMH.
These funds directly support breakthrough research, clinical enhancements and the survivorship program at PMH. Walkers covered distances of 30km in a single day or 60km over two days.
Next year's walk will be the 10th anniversary, and the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation is already looking ahead to the 10 Years Strong Weekend.
