2022 Year in Review – UHN 'Behind the Breakthrough' podcast launches Season Four

At Canada's largest academic health sciences centre, it has been another extraordinary year amid the continuing challenges posed by the pandemic and health care human resources. There were still many milestones and achievements. UHN News is taking a look back at some of our top stories.

Season 4 of the acclaimed UHN podcast "Behind the Breakthrough," which highlights our groundbreaking research, achieved some major milestones this past year. The program surpassed 30,000 downloads and won "Outstanding Science Series" at the 2022 Canadian Podcast Awards – a first for the broadcast and a first for a Canadian hospital-produced podcast.
