When Leah Smeaton lost her dad to a drunk driver, Leah's mother quickly took on the role of both parents. She devoted herself to raising three daughters with the same passion and love for life Leah's father always had. When Leah's mom suffered an aortic aneurysm and had emergency surgery at Toronto General Hospital – Leah's strength was tested once again – terrified she would lose another parent far too soon.
