Dear Colleagues,
Many of you know that it's thanks to our three Foundations that UHN is able to offer exceptional patient services, build our core research budget, purchase essential equipment and initiate education programs that might otherwise not be possible.
It is my pleasure today to talk about this month's launch of the annual "Family Campaign." Every one of us at UHN can support our hospitals and research institutes to find answers that will transform health care for our patients, our community and our world. By giving what we are able to this collective employee campaign, we can all be part of this transformation.
There are a variety of ways to participate - and you can direct your donation to the area that is especially important to you:
- Fill out your pledge form (coming with pay slips in the first week of May);
- Create a personal or team online fundraising page (currently available through TG&WH Foundation at http://www.tgwhf.ca/
- Become an ambassador and inspire your co-workers to get involved. Tell grateful patients who wish to donate, to contact the foundations;
- Sign up for pay-roll deduction;
- Plan your own fundraising event or activity - build a team and have fun!
I want to sincerely thank all those who are already giving their support through pay-roll deductions and other types of gifts. You are sending a very positive message to our community through your commitment to this Campaign.
