As in previous years, UHN is undergoing an external assessment by Accenture (formerly Capgemini) of our Information Management (IM) Strategy.
As a hospital leader, UHN values the important role that IM plays in enabling us to achieve our vision of global impact. The external review is an opportunity to review and refine our long-term IM strategy, Information Management Strategy 2009: Information Enabling Care to ensure it reflects today's health care environment and the needs of our patients and the staff who deliver care. This external review assesses our current progress and implementation, building on past reviews from 2001 to 2005.
As part of the review, Accenture will be holding focus groups with a cross-section of staff and inviting feedback from clinical staff through an online survey. This year, we hope that all clinical staff will participate in this important annual assessment. The survey is a great opportunity to provide your perspective on UHN's Information Management processes, letting us know your opinion on what's working and what's not working.
