With the holiday season fast approaching, I'm writing to remind you about the alliance between Indigo Books & Music Inc. and University Health Network. Indigo will donate 8.5 per cent of online sales that come through www.uhn.ca/indigo to support UHN's patient education programs.
As you know, our Patient Education Network develops print and online materials to help patients and families learn more about illnesses and treatment.
Participation doesn't change the price that you pay for your purchases but will help the Patient Education Network expand their services, print and online materials.
When you enter the Indigo website through www.uhn.ca/indigo, 8.5 per cent of your book, music, DVD, toy gift and lifestyle product purchases, before tax and shipping charges, will be donated to UHN.
Here's how to participate:
1. Go to www.uhn.ca/indigo
2. Click on "Go to indigo.ca"
3. Click "Yes" on the transition page to go to Indigo.ca. Shop online as you normally would.
This is the first time a Canadian hospital has worked with a major bookseller in this way.
