Dear Colleagues,
In November 2008, UHN was successfully accredited by Accreditation Canada and of the 1,521 standards that UHN was assessed on we were marked compliant with 1,509, as well as all 25 Required Organizational Practices. That means we were compliant with over 99% of standards!
Accreditation Canada will be surveying UHN again during the week of November 20th-25th, 2011. Accreditation is an opportunity to showcase our achievements in patient care and corporate services, as well as identify opportunities for improvement.
The UHN Accreditation Resource Team will be hosting 3 kickoff events and I invite you to take part.
