Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to share with you the Balanced Scorecard report and highlights for the first quarter of our 2012/13 fiscal year. You will notice that this year, we have slightly revised a few of the measures on our BSC to reflect areas of particular importance. In 2012/13, we are continuing our focus on:
- Increasing our organizational commitment score
- Reducing over time and sick time
- Reducing hospital acquired infection rates and maximizing patient safety
- Maintaining a balanced budget position
- Further reducing ED Wait Times and ALC Days
In this edition of the Balanced Scorecard Highlights, we review a number of measures including our Overtime Rate, the Turnaround Time for REB Review of Clinical Research Studies, the Percentage of Studies at Zero Accrual and the percentage of Electronic Documentation Capture across the organization. In addition, we discuss our excellent Hand Hygiene results and Inpatient Satisfaction Score. We thank all our staff for their hard work and dedication towards achieving these results.
