 What We Do

Multiple sclerosis is a complex neurological disease. And, for reasons researchers have yet to discover, Canada has one of the highest rates of MS in the world – about 75,000 of us have it. The disease can affect vision, hearing, memory and concentration, balance and mobility. Symptoms are unpredictable and can change over time. Its effects are physical, emotional, financial, and last a lifetime.

There is no cure, but our rehabilitation can help.

If you have MS, we can help you learn how to adapt to your disease and manage your own health. We can also help you maintain or recover your physical and mental abilities as much as possible.

We work with you and your family to develop an individual treatment plan that meets your needs and goals.

We provide 1:1 interdisciplinary rehabilitation as well as offer a variety of health promotion groups for clients seen within the Outpatient MS Program.

It's Your Choice Exercises

This Toronto Rehab exercise DVD allows you to maintain a regular exercise routine at home.

What Makes Us Special

Our team works with individuals and their families to develop a specific treatment plan that meets their needs and goals. Addressing the needs of the whole individual requires an extensive list of specialized health care professionals across several fields. We address care issues in many areas including exercise, speech and swallowing, counselling and adaptation for self-care and work, just to name a few.

Our Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation Outpatient Services helps people develop the knowledge and practical skills they need to manage their disease day-to-day. Our health promotion programs are available in addition to one-to-one therapy.
