The Joint Department of Medical Imaging's cardiothoracic division consists of radiologists from the Mount Sinai Hospital, University Health Network (comprised of Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto General Hospital, Rehab and Toronto Western Hospital) and Women's College Hospital.

With eight Fellowship positions, it's also one of the largest fellowship programs in the World. We are a leader in translating research work directly into patient care as seen through the pioneering evaluation and introduction of low-dose Computed Tomography (CT) chest scans in patients with leukemia and ultralow dose CT in guiding lung intervention.

We are also the only Canadian centre which has two dedicated MRI scanners for cardiovascular patients.
