Charmaine is a Master of Nursing candidate at Ryerson University. In addition to being the APNE for the Neurovascular Inpatient Unit at Toronto Western Hospital, she is a Neurosurgical Nurse Educator for the Neurosurgical Education Outreach Network (NEON). Charmaine is also an active member of the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses and is Co-Councillor for the Ontario Central chapter.
Charmaine has a passion for academic practice that has propelled her toward a variety of research activities. She is currently a Research Assistant with the Daphne Cockwell School of Nursing and is the Principal Investigator for a study supported by the Krembil Nursing Research Award.
