The International Patient Program (IPP) facilitates UHN's vision of global impact by providing medically necessary care to international patients, who are not able to access the required health care services in their home country.
International patients are required to meet eligibility criteria, complete an application package and follow a standard process to be considered to receive care at UHN.
All resources are in PDF format unless otherwise indicated.
Our central IPP office manages all international referrals and supports international patients, families or their representatives through the program application, acceptance process and provision of care. All applications are screened by our medical director and medical professionals to determine if care can be provided at UHN.
If you have any questions regarding the IPP program, please contact our office by phone, email or fax.
