What We Do

Psoriasis is a common skin disease that affects about three percent of the population. Many people develop psoriatic arthritis (PsA) which can affect the joints, tendons and spine.

At the Psoriatic Disease Clinic, patients are first evaluated by a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis and then are screened by rheumatologists for the presence of PsA. The earlier we make a diagnosis, the better the treatment options. We also screen for other associated conditions.

Patients may be required to have some tests performed including blood tests and X-rays.
