The Toronto Rehab Research Program is dedicated to improving the lives of people living with the effects of disability, illness and age-related health conditions. With the second largest rehabilitation research program in North America, our rehab researchers have access to advanced facilities where ideas can be cultivated and tested in real-life settings.
Led by Dr. Geoff Fernie, the program has a broad focus that spans from artificial intelligence to communication, health care efficiency and mobility. Research innovations at Toronto Rehab allow for the development of new treatments, technologies and products to prevent injury, restore function and assist caregivers.
