Qualified MAF Physician

Dr. Carmela Tartaglia is a member of the Qualified MAF Physician Network, a prestigious group of doctors selected to examine Retired NFL Football Players for the NFL Concussion Settlement Program. Dr. Tartaglia is an approved Qualified MAF Physician in the NFL Concussion Settlement Program selected to examine Retired NFL Football Players for potential Qualifying Diagnoses.

Concussion Professorship

Dr. Carmela Tartaglia was appointed as the Marion and Gerald Soloway Professor in Brain Injury and Concussion Research on July 1, 2016, the first designated concussion professorship in the world.​
