Happy New Year. I trust that you have spent an enjoyable holiday with friends and family and are energized about starting 2007. For those of you who were here over the holiday season, thank you for your commitment to our patients.
Beginning the first week of January 2007, my office will be located at the Toronto Western Hospital in the Site Management area and will remain there until the end of February. I think this move is important to allow me to better understand the terrific culture at the Western site, to meet with colleagues informally and to make it easier to visit the units at the Western more frequently. My assistant, Ruth Gopaul will also be here. My phone number and other contacts will not change.
Tennys Hanson, President & CEO of the Toronto General & Western Hospital Foundation will also join me at the Western in January and February. She will have an office here every Wednesday & Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. You can find her in the West Wing, 1st Floor, Room 403 and she will be reachable by phone at 416-603-6498 and through the global email address.
