What We Do

The Virtual Behavioural Medicine program at Toronto Rehab provides rapid access to short-term specialized virtual behavioural medicine consultation and management of responsive behaviours in dementia, as a supplement to existing local behaviour supports.

Who We Care For

  • Individuals with a diagnosis of dementia, where the primary concern is severe neuropsychiatric symptoms of dementia such as agitation and physical expression
  • Individuals living in long-term care, or in acute care where their final discharge destination is long-term care
  • Patients who are currently stable from a general medical perspective
