The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Patient Information Line (Info Line) is part of an ongoing effort to provide patients and visitors with practical information and support in real time. Call the Info Line at: 416 946 4558 between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, to speak to a Patient Management Centre Representative.​

Cancer journey booklet, journal and app  
Cancer Journey Guide Book and Planner

The Cancer Journey Guide Book and Planner can help you from diagnosis to treatment and beyond. Pick up a copy in your clinic or from the Princess Margaret Patient and Family Library. You can also get the Cancer Journey Guide Book and Planner online and with the PM Cancer Journey app.

The Princess Margaret Patient and Family Library is now open to patients, families, caregivers and staff. You can also continue to access library resources by email and phone.

  • Satellite Libraries
    Satellite Libraries are branches of the Princess Margaret Patient and Family Library that contain patient education information brochures. You will find Satellite Libraries in clinics throughout the Cancer Centre.

  • UHN Patient and Family Libraries Catalogue
    An online catalogue of all of the Patient & Family Learning Centres lending materials can be found online. You can browse titles, or search by subject, author, title or keyword.

Classes

The Princess Margaret offers a variety of classes that give patients, friends and families support and guidance at diagnosis, during treatment and after treatment.

There are two types of classes that you can take: live classes led by an instructor (most online, some in-person), and self-directed classes that you complete at your own pace. For all online classes, you will need a device with internet (like a computer, smartphone or tablet).

Live Instructor-Led Classes

Attend a wide range of free virtual classes led by an instructor. You may need to register in advance for these classes.

Self-Directed Classes

Learn about cancer when you are ready with free self-directed classes at PM Cancer Classes. The new toggle feature makes it easy to switch between content that's specific to the Princess Margaret and general content for anyone with cancer.
