What We Do

Sjögren's Syndrome is a disease that damages the salivary, tear and mucous-secreting glands, and a person with it suffers from dry eyes, dry mouth and swollen salivary glands. The disease can also affect other organs in the body, leading to serious complications.

At the Sjögren's Clinic, patients are given thorough assessments, often involving a minor salivary gland biopsy from inside the lower lip (unless proper previous biopsies are available for review). As a patient, you'll usually get your results at a follow-up appointment three months later.
