EPR for Nursing

Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, Nurse Learner (students), Agency Nurses.

You are required to complete two EPR eLearning courses to receive EPR access: Intro to EPR and EPR for Nursing. An option will appear at the end of Intro to EPR, directing you to select the EPR for Nursing eLearning, to complete your additional role-specific training.

Attention all Learners (for clinical placement), you must register in UMLearns, UHN’s Learner registration database, before completing the EPR training so that your knowledge check results will be loaded into UMLearns. Learners should confirm with their supervisors if they need more than Chart Review (read-only) access prior to completing any role-specific modules.

NOTE: All Nurse Practitioner Students should take the EPR for Providers training due to their expanded scope of practice.  Please contact UHN Student Services with any questions nursingstudents@uhn.ca.

If you have questions about which course to take, please contact studentcentre@uhn.ca.
