Looking for energy-boosting supplements or thickened products? Need a specialized formula or assistive feeding supplies? Specialty Food Shop at The Hospital for Sick Children has what you need, and we're here to help!

The Specialty Food Shop has been in business for over 30 years offering products and services that meet the special dietary needs of infants, children and adults across Canada. We provide support for people with food allergies, celiac disease (unable to eat gluten in foods), energy boosting needs, inherited metabolic disorders, cystic fibrosis, people who have difficulty swallowing and patients requiring help with feeding devices.

We pride ourselves on being a source of reliable nutrition information and our staff is happy to help. If you have been newly diagnosed and have questions about products, or you're looking for trusted nutrition advice, contact the store dietitian at sfs.rd@sickkids.ca. For information on assistive feeding devices, including enteral feeding, contact the store diet technician at sfs.medsupply@sickkids.ca. Do you require a special product and we don't currently carry it? Contact the store Manager at sfs.admin@sickkids.ca. If you need help choosing allergen-free, gluten-free or 'grab & go' items, our staff of friendly and knowledgeable Nutrition Associates will be happy to assist.

We're conveniently located on the main floor of The Hospital for Sick Children, 555 University Avenue, Toronto, ON. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
