If you need urgent cancer treatment and you have COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed:
- Your treatment will not be delayed if it is safe for you to get it.
If you have COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed, and it is safe to delay your treatment:
- Your treatment may be delayed by a few days.
If you have symptoms of COVID-19, an exposure or have tested positive on a home kit or PCR lab test:
- Do not come to the cancer centre.
- Call your clinic triage line and they will plan care that is safe for you.
- If you need urgent help please call 911 or visit your nearest emergency department (for example: severe trouble breathing, chest pain, confusion or if it is hard for you to stay awake).
