Hamad Medical Corporation (Qatar)

Princess Margaret/UHN is currently engaged in partnership with Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) National Center for Cancer Care and Research in Doha, Qatar. The objective of this partnership is to contribute to the HMC cancer program through coaching, mentoring, advising, assisting and educating health care practitioners to improve cancer care for Qataris and the substantial ex-patriate population in Qatar.

Kuwait Cancer Control Center (Kuwait)

Princess Margaret Cancer Centre recently completed a 5-year engagement with the Kuwait Ministry of Health to improve cancer service delivery at the Kuwait Cancer Control Center (KCCC). The goal of this partnership was to improve patient access to cancer-related services in Kuwait and expand best practices. The project focused on areas such as radiation medicine, medical oncology, surgical oncology and laboratory medicine services to build the foundation for a comprehensive cancer system. The project also aimed to enhance nursing oncology competencies, provide comprehensive clinical training, and support development of core hospital services, including infection control, human resources, and information technology.
