Our UHN programs and services are among the most advanced in the world. We have grouped our physicians, staff, services and resources into 10 medical programs to meet the needs of our patients and help us make the most of our resources.
University Health Network is a health care and medical research organization in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The scope of research and complexity of cases at UHN has made us a national and international source for discovery, education and patient care.
Our 10 medical programs are spread across eight hospital sites – Princess Margaret, Toronto General, Toronto Rehab’s five sites, Toronto Western – as well as our education programs through the Michener Institute of Education at UHN. The Newsroom is the source for media looking for information about UHN or trying to connect with one of our experts for an interview. It’s also the place to find UHN media policies and catch up on our news stories, videos, media releases, podcasts and more.
Our centre offers a range of amenities and activities that are available to you as a client or visitor.
Vending MachinesLocation: Main Level across from the elevators with 24 hour access
Newspapers and MailboxesA mailbox is located at the driveway entrance on Austin Terrace
Wi-fi access is available throughout our site, on the complimentary Guest Wireless Network.
Pay PhonesClient courtesy phones are available on each unit for client use as well as in the family room on the main floor. As your care team for the location on your unit.
Taxi PhonesYou can call a taxi from the client courtesy phones on each unit or in the Family Room .
Bedside PhonesBeside phones are not available at Hillcrest. You are welcome to bring your personal cell phone for use while in-hospital.
TelevisionA shared television is located on each unit in the patient lounge /dining area.
An Information /reception desk is located close to the entrance of Hillcrest.
All Hillcrest staff wear an identification badge.
Security officers are duty at the reception desk from 8pm to 8am. If you notice any suspicious individuals, notify reception /security and tell your nurse or any other staff member.

Public GardensLocation: There is a covered outside seating area adjacent to the main entrance.
Quiet SpaceThere is a family room available on the main floor and can be booked for family meetings or events. There is also quiet space available on each unit for client and family use.
