Who We Are

The Division of General Internal Medicine (GIM) and Geriatrics at UHN is made up of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to treating patients with complex medical conditions. Our program is linked with Mount Sinai Hospital and Women's College Hospital, to offer the best care to all of our patients.

In our outpatient clinics, general internists and geriatricians provide consultation to family doctors and other specialists. In our inpatient units, we provide 24-hour care to patients requiring hospitalization.

Our specialists are leaders at the local, national, and international level. We provide medical student and resident education, and our diverse areas of research include osteoporosis, geriatric oncology, patient safety and quality and innovative models of care.
