Stress is a tricky part of life. Too much of it, and you’re a blob on the floor. Too little of it, and you’re a blob on the floor. For artists, stress comes not only from the normal pressures of life, but also from the precarious nature of the arts sector which usually means too little time, too little money and so much to manage.

We hear a lot about stress at Artists’ Health Alliance and we’re here to help. Learn something new, refresh what you already know and connect with other artists who share your struggles. Our workshops offer knowledge from arts medicine experts, practical strategies tailored to artists and insight gleamed from the lived experiences of the artists in the room.


All sessions are Pay-What-You-Can. Workshops are on the first Wednesday of every month from 4:00 – 6:00 pm (except the January session) from September 2018 – May 2019 at The Al & Malka Green Artists’ Health Centre located in Toronto Western Hospital.
