What We Do

The General Neurology Clinic is an outpatient service that provides comprehensive, individualized assessment and care for a full range of neurological conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord and nerves.

The types of conditions we treat include headaches, Parkinson disease, tremors, seizures, dementia and multiple sclerosis.

After being seen in clinic, you may be discharged back to your family doctor or referring physician if no further treatment is needed by a neurologist. If appropriate, after being seen in clinic, we may refer you to one of our specialty clinics for further assessment. Otherwise, a follow-up appointment will be booked for ongoing management.

The goal of the General Neurology clinic is to provide evaluation for patients seen within UHN emergency department as well as accepting patients referred by internal physicians. Patients will generally be booked based on the order referrals are received with rare cases seen earlier for urgent indications.

Please be aware that there is a wait list for this clinic. If you do not wish to attend your appointment please call to cancel within 24 hours so one of the patients on our wait list can be booked into your old appointment slot.
