​The University Health Network Division of Vascular and Interventional Radiology is part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging providing services to Mount Sinai, Princess Margaret, Toronto General, Toronto Rehab, Toronto Western and Women's College hospitals. We combine diagnostic tests and therapeutic techniques, using minimally invasive methods in treating problems with the circulatory system (vascular), liver, kidneys, GI track, and reproductive system (non-vascular).

Our Vascular Interventional procedures include:

  • Angiography
  • Angioplasty (Balloon and Stent)
  • Abdominal Aneurysm Repairs
  • TIPS
  • Central Venous Access Devices
  • IVC Filters
  • AV fistula intervention including angioplasty, thrombolysis, and embolization
  • Transarterial Chemo Embolization (TACE)
  • Stent Grafts

Our Non-Vascular Interventional procedures include:

  • Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Renal Denervation
  • G-Tube insertions/interventions
  • Nephrostomies, stone removals, and stent insertions
  • Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)
  • Biliary Drainage and Stenting
